The Hollywood movie "Blade Runner" (also translated "2020"), was co-produced by the Shaw Brothers in 1982, is the pioneering work of cyberpunk movies and is regarded as the classic of all time. It depicts a stunning futuristic cityscape that is heavily influenced by Hong Kong. Since then, cyberpunk has an inseparable relationship with our city. Some scenes in Ghost in the Shell were even filmed in Sham Shui Po, in which the saturated neon lights and metropolitan skyscrapers in the movie construct the aesthetics of future cities, using Hong Kong street scenes as the blueprint.
The story of “Heart of Cyberpunk” sets forth in the “High Tech, Low Life” SSP CITY in the other side of the time portal. The story is presented in two parts, the prequel and the main story, under the looming climate crisis that intertwines with artificial intelligence, machinery, steel and flesh, reality and illusion, the past and the future.
The prequel unfolds in the form of a comic book. The story tells a group of cyberpunk voyagers whose daily lives have been changed by rapid climate change and artificial intelligence. They wandered through the streets of Sham Shui Po to search for the five-pointed key in order to activate the Cyborg Zero, in the Cyborg Transformation Factory, who carries the important clues to the mystery of human evolution.

Guided by Zero, the main story is about the cyberpunk voyagers finally finding the Heart of Cyberpunk Main Base which was hidden under the flyover (i.e. the golden seam). With the uniting power of the cyberpunk voyagers and the five “hearts”, the otherworldly creatures that have been sleeping for a long time inside the asteroid — the AI “Mother Brain” and its clone are awakened. Revealing the civilisation and evolutionary secret of sustainable development under the integration of mankind, technology, nature and renewable energy, and departing for a journey to a whole new world of Planet Neu.
